A Holistic Health Care Practitioner uses a foundational approach to functional, holistic nutrition, and a functional approach to health and wellness. An emphasis is placed on the Nutritional Foundations which include digestion, blood sugar balance, mineral balance, fatty acid balance, hydration, and properly prepared, nutrient dense whole food diet paired with a well-balanced lifestyle with respecting bio-individuality and the body's innate ability to heal. A Holistic Health Care Practitioner will manage and track a clients progress, assess a clients' bio-individual needs, determine optimal health goals, and design a customized nutrition and lifestyle protocol for each client. Each protocol will take into account environmental factors, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, dietary suggestions and nutritional supplements to promote healthy physiological function, improve nutritional status, and bring balance to the body systems.
AIP Certified Coach Practitioner
As autoimmune disease diagnosis and chronic disease rise in the 21st Century, we need certified practitioners that understand the science behind autoimmune disease and chronic illness, and practical strategies for helping clients to learn and implement dietary and lifestyle interventions. It can be done! You can live a normal life with an autoimmune disease if you are willing to put in the work. It can change lives...look at me! I will always be autoimmune, but now my disease is in remission. I feel good, I look better, and each day I make the decision to be healthy and to work on being better today than I was yesterday. This is a lifestyle, not a "I'm fixed, so go back to my old ways"! Never. The path to healing and dealing with autoimmune disease is a marathon, not a sprint, and it takes time and work, but is attainable!
Certified Health & Wellness Coach, CHWC
A Certified Health & Wellness Coach is a wellness authority and supportive mentor who motivates clients to cultivate positive health choices by providing guidance and management in the major components of health, diet, physical activity and wellness. Health & Wellness Coaches help clients by identifying their ideal health and wellness goals, defining a customized plan and guiding the client in putting the plan into action. We do this by assessing a clients current physical and emotional state, helping them develop sustainable strategies and goals to bring overall health and wellness into the clients life. A Health Wellness Coach will help a client achieve their goals by working with each individual's strengths and values in creating plans for a long-term health and wellness strategy that suits their lifestyle. Health Coaches are key motivators in helping clients stay on track to achieve each goal, and to empower each client to reach their goals.
Depending on the area of focus, a Health & Wellness Coach can help with setting goals with clients for improved Nutrition, Exercise, Mental and Emotional Health, Physical Health, Lower Stress, Quit Smoking, Coping with Autoimmune Disease and Chronic Illness, and not limited to Lifestyle changes in behavior to improve overall well-being and optimal health.

A Certified Holistic Nutritionist advises clients on how to improve diet, lifestyle and attitude to prevent disease and promote health. The philosophy of a Holistic Nutritionist is that one's health is individual, and a complex balance between the physical, chemical, mental, and emotional, as well as spiritual aspects of a clients life. We approach health and healing from a whole-person perspective. Using nutritional education as a primary tool, a Holistic Nutritionist will emphasize the building of health and risk-reduction of disease by approaching each person as a unique individual. It's not a one-size fits all approach. Each clients health recovery process is unique and individual to their specific health and wellness needs.

A Certified Holistic Health Coach looks at the whole picture (not just food) to help clients with not only diet and nutrition, but with other issues such as time management, relationships, anxiety, stress, physical and emotional health. A Holistic Health Coach uses an integrative holistic approach to both diet and lifestyle changes to improve their clients health. Working as a guide to an overall healthier life, we educate clients about how to achieve and sustain good health with daily routine, whole, nutritious foods, exercise, stress management, adequate sleep, and more. And empower clients to achieve optimal health and wellness for the present and the future.
